WALKERTOWN-Paul Rex Truelove, 77, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1932 in Forsyth Co. to the late Paul Evan and Troy Kearns Truelove. Rex was a wonderful and loving man. He loved to travel and go on cruises. Rex retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service, he also retired from United Parcel Service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Truelove Crutchfield; and a nephew, Jeffrey L. Foster. Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Sylvia Kiger Truelove of the home; one son, Jeff Wooten and wife Misty; one sister, Harriett Truelove and Gerald; one niece, Jennifer Ayers and husband Jim; one uncle, Robert Kearns and wife Penny; two grandchildren, Matt Emmerich and Samantha Royal; two sisters-in-law, Marian Dowell and Karen Fulp and husband Marty. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with the Rev. Frank Shumate officiating.
