KERNERSVILLE - Paul ""Doug"" Douglas Reich, 74, a loving husband, father and grandfather passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born October 12, 1938 in Forsyth Co. to Herbert Fries Reich and the late Arlene Thomas Reich. Doug retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. after 31 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, building furniture and loved going to Cherokee. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his son, Kelly Ray Reich and his daughter, Patricia Ann Reich. Surviving are his wife, Paula Wood Reich of the home; son, Curtis Paul Reich and wife, Joanna of High Point; daughter, Donna Renee Grimes and husband, John of Walkertown; two granddaughters, Morgan and Madelyn Grimes; grandson, Joshua Zachariah Reich; father, Herb Reich of Mocksville; sister, Bonnie Sue West of Mocksville. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at First Christian Church in Kernersville with Rev. Dan Hipply officiating. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
