Paul "Frank" Pitts, Sr.

Mr. Paul Franklin Pitts, Sr., 81, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Frank was born September 6, 1934 to Paul Anderson Pitts and Vivian Mabe Pitts. He worked for Piedmont Aviation/US Airways for 42 years and was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church for 33 years. He will be fondly remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Frank was preceded in death by his parents.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Mary Lou; children, Paul Franklin Pitts, Jr. and spouse Debbie, Dave Allan Pitts and spouse Chris, and Patty Luann Stewart and spouse David; grandchildren, Heather Pitts Beck, Heath Brandon Pitts and spouse Amber, Tiffany Lambeth and spouse Andrew, Joshua Stewart and Andrew Stewart; and great-grandchildren, Macie Pitts, Hannah Pitts, Madilyn Pitts, Bryce Lambeth, Kohen Lambeth, and Stella Sink.

A celebration of Frank's life will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11 am at Friedberg Moravian Church. Burial will follow the service in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends Monday, November 23, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
