Paul Thomas Moulton, 71, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his home in Winston-Salem.
Paul was born on February 21, 1951, in Boston, MA to the late Linwood Moulton, Jr. and Winifred McElroy Moulton. He spent his childhood in Maine and moved to Long Island, NY in 1972. Paul and his wife Linda settled in Winston-Salem three years ago.
As a young man, Paul enlisted in the US Navy. Beginning in 1969, he served as a cook on his first ship, the Patterson. He was promoted to petty officer 3rd class while serving on the newly commissioned USS Aylwin (DE-1081) where he was also a plank owner. Paul was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. After leaving active duty he continued to serve his country in the reserves until 1975.
Paul worked as an exterminator and was employed with EcoLab Exterminating in Manhattan for 25 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and cooking for his family and friends. Paul loved to spend time with his grandchildren, especially taking them sport and target shooting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Linwood Moulton, III.
Surviving family includes his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Snyder Moulton; two children, Paul Moulton, Jr. and Erin Moulton Tuminello; five siblings, Jeanie Peterson, Lynne Taylor, Douglas Moulton, Curtis Moulton and Jean Moulton; and beloved grandchildren, Caitlyn Moulton, Samantha Moulton, Kristin Moulton, Nicholas Tuminello and Sean Tuminello.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Staten Island Boys Football League, 1435 Travis Ave., Staten Island, New York 10314.
