Mr. Paul Lee Miller, Sr., 80, passed away December 4, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 2, 1932 in Forsyth County to the late George Wesley Miller and Della Painter Miller. He attended Griffith High School. Mr. Miller retired from Fogle Furniture with 40 plus years of service while also working at Bob Little's Upholstery. He subsequently worked at Rays Upholstery and B & M Upholstery. He was an avid fisherman and loved to fish with his three sons. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, George Miller and his two sisters, Corena Martin and Mary Lou Myers. Mr. Miller is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Virginia Smith Miller; three sons, Paul Lee Miller, Jr., and Allan Miller and wife Nancy, and Dwayne Miller and wife Jamie; six grandchildren, Stacey and wife Joey, Amber and husband Philip, Jonathan and wife Jessica, Addison and wife Trisha, Brian and wife Lacy, and Amanda and husband Michael; twelve great-grandchildren; a brother, Clyde Miller and wife Peggy; a sister, Trudy Jordan and husband Wayne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, December 7, 2012 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Steven Pegram officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
