Paul Edwin McGraw

Mr. Paul Edwin McGraw, 77, of Winston Salem passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Springwood Care. He was born March 13, 1938 to Peyton and Dorothy Osborne McGraw in Forsyth County. He was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He owned and operated Pauls Construction Company for over 40 years. He loved spending time at the beach and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Randall Paul McGraw, Sr. He is survived by his loving daughter, Lucretia ""LuAnn"" Smith and husband Paul of Winston Salem; one grandson, Randall Paul McGraw, Jr. and his mother, Shannon Simpson and sister, Dakota Simpson of Winston Salem. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Westlawn Garden of Memories with Rev. Chris Byrne officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, September 11, 2015 at Hayworth- Miller Silas Creek Chapel from 6:00 -8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Forsyth Humane Society in Winston-Salem. Also, a special thanks to the folks at Springwood Care for taking care of him all these years and my special friend, Debra Vernon.
