Paul Wilburn Hartness

KERNERSVILLE-Paul Wilburn Hartness, 83, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Britthaven of Kernersville. He was born July 9, 1925 in Iredell Co. to the late Willie Irving and Eloise Mills Hartness. Surviving are his wife, Faye D. Hartness of the home; three sons, Terry Hartness and wife Cecelia of Kernersville, Larry Hartness and wife Shelia of Yadkinville, Rick Hartness and wife Donna of Tampa, Florida; five grandchildren, Linda Turner of Clemmons, Mitch Hartness of Kernersville, Vann Hartness of Tampa, Florida, Mark Hartness of Fort Worth, Texas, and Becky Hartness of Greensboro; four great-grandchilren; three sisters, Ruby Chatman of Morganton, Lorene Reavis of Statesville and Joanne Journey of Statesville. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 am Friday, March 27, 2009 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Bobby Roberson and the Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the funeral home.
