Mr. Paul Eugene Davis, 74 of Lewisville, NC, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2009. Mr. Davis was born February 9, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late William and Lillian Dull Davis. He was previously employed by Parkway Ford in Winston-Salem and was currently employed with I.L. Long Construction Company in Winston-Salem for 35 years He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Velma Jennings and Wanda Ward. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Betty Beshears Davis of the home, a daughter, Denise Davis Ketcham and husband, Joel; a grandson, Kendal Davis Ketcham, two sisters; Grace Conrad and husband, Nick, Linda Stimpson and husband, Clay one brother Carl Davis and wife Caroland mother-in-law Mary Beshears The Davis Family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Monday, December 21 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jerry Whiteheart. Burial will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Park. It is the desire of the family, that anyone wishing to make a gift in his honor would make it to Hospice and Pallative Care Center of Winston-Salem, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The Family would like to thank Dr. Steven Klein, and Debbie Foltz Hospice Nurse for the care given to Mr. Davis. Also a special thanks to Linda and Clay Stimpson , Kenneth Stimpson, Jeff Beshears, Deena B. Hudson and Rik Newsome.
