Mr. Paul Francis Brandle, age 79 of Clemmons, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born May 22, 1942 in Windber, PA. to the late Edward R. Brandle, Sr. and Mary Ruth Spinos Brandle.  Paul was a graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School in Johnstown, PA. and college graduate of American University in Washington, DC with a BS in Criminal Justice.  He served in the U.S. Navy as a Second Class Petty Officer from 1960 to 1964. Paul had retired from the Metropolitan police Department as Sergeant in Washington, DC and later retired from Wachovia Bank in Winston-Salem in the Corporate Alarm Center and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.  He is preceded in death by two brothers, Edward R. Brandle, Jr. and David R. Brandle and two sisters, Betty Ruth Phillips and Mary Alice Lehosky.  Surviving is his wife, Mary Ellen Brandle; two daughters, Annette Marie Brandle of Mocksville and Paulette Lynn Brandle-Young of Clemmons; grandson, Paul Edward Young of King and several nieces and nephews. He was a fun-loving, sensitive, strong and caring man. In our eyes, our SUPERMAN. His family meant everything to him. He was our protector and the greatest love of our lives. He held us together and we will always be together because of him. Mary, Net Net, Paulette and Rugrat (Paul) will move forward with a great loss but knowing he will live in our hearts.
