KERNERSVILLE-Patsy Elizabeth Hubbard Walker 71, passed victoriously February 7, 2009 through the gates of Heaven safely into the arms of Jesus after several years of declining health. Patsy was born May 6, 1937 in Forsyth County to the late Thurman Woodrow and Julia Mattie Dull Hubbard. Patsy attended Kernersville High School and was a homemaker who dearly loved her family. Patsy had many special cousins, who visited her often and made her day! She leaves to Cherish her wonderful memories her two daughters; Kim Clark and Cheryl Clark; One granddaughter; Tessa Clark; one grandson; Jason Chamelin, one Great Grandson, Tyler Clark; one brother Don W. Hubbard and his wife Opal; one sister Betty Jo Parrish; three special nieces Robin Clark, Sonja Gardner, Sharon Reid; four special nephews, Barry and Lynn Parrish, Tim and Dale Hubbard; one special aunt Madie Dull Dean and former sister in-law Maxine Reid, all of Kernersville. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday February 10, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Dale Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery, Kernersville. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 PM Monday night at the funeral Home and at other times at Mr. and Mrs Don Hubbard's Home, 919 N. Main St. Kernersville. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the wonderful care and love shown to Patsy by the staff during her 10 months stay at the Lutheran Home in Walkertown also to Bradford Village East for her three years there. The family requests that memorials be made to The Alzheimer's Association of Eastern NC Chapter 400 Oberlin Rd. Suite 220, Raleigh, NC 27605.
