Patsy Robertson

Mrs. Patsy Robertson Robertson, 84, went to be with the Lord December 28, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 8, 1933 in Danville, Virginia to the late James Kyle Robertson and Ruth Thornton Robertson. Pat was a hardworking, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a loving Christian lady passionate about helping others when there was a need. She owned her own business. She had many talents, cake baking, flower arranging, sewing, singing, ceramics, Porcelan dolls, and many other crafts. Pat uplifted many people with her smile, exemplifying Christ in her life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, David Samuels, James Francis Robertson, and Raymond Folwell, 4 sisters, and 1 grandchild. She is survived by 4 children; Gary Samuels (Debbie), Kyle Samuels (Cristi), Karen Thacker (Tom), Lisa Mingus (Bill); 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 sister; 1 brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Woodland Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Gammons and Brother Kyle Samuels officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon to 1:30 PM at the church.
