Patsy 'Patti' Diane Dyson

Patti Diane Dyson, 57 of Clemmons passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Hospice of Davidson County after a 14 month battle with lung cancer. She was born June 1, 1954 in Forsyth County to Hugh T. and Dorothy Elliott Dyson. Patti was of the Moravian faith. Patti graduated from Parkland High School in 1972. She was employed at Larmore Landscaping Associates as office manager. Patti loved playing golf, spending time with her many friends, and she really loved shopping. She would shop until she dropped. Patti was an animal lover and would take in and care for all animals. She was preceded in death by her father. Surving are her mother, a sister, Debbie and husband Gary Stilley, a niece, Amy and husband Jodie Copley, a nephew Eric and wife April Stilley, a great niece, Hannah Copley and two great nephews, Hunter Copley and Joseph Chevalier. She is also survived by two aunts, Gerry Goodwin and Nina Dyson, several cousins and a special companion, her dog Sadie that she loved so much. The family wishes to thank Patti's many special friends who provided care, support and encouragement during her illness. The family would also like to thank Hospice of Davidson County for their special care and compassion during her critical time.
