Patricia Duke Walker

Patricia Duke Walker, 81, sadly passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Born on June 4, 1943, in Winston-Salem, Patricia was the daughter of Charles and Hazel Duke. She spent her life embracing the joys of family, friendship, and adventure. Pat found happiness in simple pleasures, whether it was visiting with her family, playing cards with friends, or enjoying a round of golf. She loved to travel, and she especially loved spoiling her canine companion, Abby, who she loved dearly. She had a special gift for growing flowers and plants. Her friends would give her their dying plants and she would magically bring them back to life. We will miss her nurturing spirit. Whether at family dinner or on the golf course, she cherished the camaraderie and laughter that came with these pastimes. Her love for travel reflected her adventurous spirit and curiosity about the world. But her love for family was the most important thing in her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Walker; her parents, Charles and Hazel Duke; and her two brothers, Phillip and Robert Duke. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Gregory; her son-in-law, Chris Gregory; her son, Michael Hine; her two granddaughters, Krista and Carley; and her niece and nephew, Miranda and Blake. Pat's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace. We will honor her life with a celebration of life on Thursday, February 13th at Friends Baptist Church, 1840 Lewisville Clemmons Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012.
