Patricia Leigh Sprinkle Sellers, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on April 3, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was formerly of Clemmons and King, but had spent the last 14 years of her life as a resident of Springwood Care of Forsyth. Pat was born in Forsyth County to the late Clyde Edward Sprinkle and Lula Hazel Stokes Sprinkle. She was a graduate of West Forsyth High School and attended Appalachian State University in Boone. She was employed by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company until her illness. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and as a teenager and young adult she sang and toured with Upward Bound. She was an avid UNC basketball fan and enjoyed NASCAR sporting events. Ms. Sellers accepted her illness with courage and resolve and we feel blessed that she was a part of our lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, a loving brother-in-law, Steve Ryan Moser and a special cousin, Jimmy Herman. Surviving are her loving children, Kelly Sellers-Dinger of King, Brian Edward Sellers of Macon, GA and Kimberly Leigh Sellers of King. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Hayleigh Jade Dinger, Adam Lee Dinger, Kyle Xaivar Sellers, Draven Michael Sellers and Lilyann Renee Sellers; sisters, Barbara Sprinkle Moser of Lewisville and Clydene Sprinkle Sparks and her husband Wayne, all of Mocksville; nieces, Mellyn Myers, Renee Sparks, Kristin Sparks and Sherri Sparks, three cousins, Delores James, William ""Billy"" Sprinkle and Mary Hennesee, one special aunt, Kathleen Sprinkle and special friends. Also surviving are her ex-husband and the father of her children, Burney Edward Sellers of King. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Christopher Burcham officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the staff and friends of Springwood Care and the staff of Forsyth Medical Center for their care and concern.
