Patricia Shumate Pesek

Ms. Patricia Lynn Shumate Pesek, age 62 of East Bend passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mrs. Pesek was born in Forsyth County, March 10, 1955 to Ira Clyde Shumate and Shirley Jean Humble Shumate. She was a School Bus Driver for 15 plus years and was of the Baptist faith. Patricia was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Wayne Shumate and a brother, Gary Wayne Shumate. Patricia is survived by one daughter, Jessica Leigh Pesek Aycock and husband, Nicholas of Tarboro, NC. Two sons; Adam Richard Pesek and girlfriend, Tashawnna Adkins and Nicholas Ryan Pesek all of East Bend. Two grandsons; William Colin Aycock and Alexander James Aycock. Her parents, Ira and Shirley Shumate of Holden Beach. Caregiver, David Lee Pesek and two special canine companions, Spudz and Dixie. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall by Rev. Frank Shumate.
