Patricia Lois Valentine McMullan

Winston Salem-Patricia Lois Valentine McMullan, 65, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at her home. She was born April 24, 1946 in Forsyth Co. to the late Paul Eugene and Lois Melrose Price Valentine. Patricia was a long time member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She loved arts and crafts, sewing, needle point, crochet, and tole painting. She enjoyed gardening and flounder fishing. Patricia helped design the original East Forsyth High School eagle mascot. She was employed as a Respiratory Therapist for 15 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a nephew, Bobby Darrell Joyce. Surviving are her husband, Dan McMullan of the home; her daughter, Kimberly Morris and husband Ray of WS; step-son, Jason McMullan of Ohio; two grandchildren, Derrick and Chelsea; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandson, Aiden; one sister, Betty Joyce of Belews Creek; two brothers, Charles Valentine of Cary, James Valentine of Forest, VA; four nephews, Micheal, Jeff, Chad and David; one niece, Cindy. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the funeral home.
