Pat gained her angel wings peacefully surrounded by friends and family at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Winston-Salem on August 11, 1942, to the late Ben and Mildred Williard. Growing up on a tobacco farm in Kernersville, Pat learned a hard work ethic. She was a second mom to her brother, Steve and sister, Candy. Pat graduated valedictorian from Glenn High School in 1961 and immediately began working as a secretary at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. that spanned 37 years of service until her retirement. When Pat married Larry Lineback, her life was forever changed, a joy ride with him and his family who loved her dearly. Pat and Larry were married 55 years and blessed with their only daughter, Kristina, who grew up in their deep love in the Mt. Tabor community. Pat was passionate about her family, being a loving grandmother to Gavin, gardening, enjoying all things nature (especially hummingbirds) and was known as a wonderful cook. She also had a love of cars and loved to watch all types of racing. She was member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. Pat is survived by daughter, Kristina Lineback Myers; son-in-law, Eric Myers; grandson, Gavin Myers of W-S; brother, Steve Williard (Ginny); nephews, Chris and Brad Williard and nieces, Cindy and Jana; sister, Candy Reston (Rod) of Orange Park, Fl.; nephew, Zach Warden (Kalen) of Greenville, SC; brother-in-law, Jerry Lineback (Nancy) and niece, Mica Hedgepeth of W-S. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; mother, Mildred Williard and father, Ben Williard. A very special thank you to the Williams Adult Day Center and their amazing staff that loved and cared for her daily for several years and to the Angels at Trellis Supportive Care for the wonderful care that she received while in their care. Also, a big thank you to friends and family that helped care for her and loved her as a second mom throughout the years. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Beam officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or the Elizabeth and Tab Williams Day Center, 114 W. 30th Street, Suite 400 Winston-Salem, NC 27105 will be greatly appreciated.
