Patricia Ruth Lackey Knoke went home to Jesus on January 3, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born in Minneapolis on June 25, 1927, one of 8 children of Floyd and Ruth Lackey. She is preceded in death by her daughter Vickie Lynn Munkberg. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Knoke, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage. She is also survived by her daughter Sherry Ann Harris, as well as five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Pat enjoyed a variety of activities, anything that allowed her to spend time with her family. She was a devoted member of her church, singing in the choir and leading her girls in Awana. Her easy-going nature and kind heart drew people to her, and she will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A service will be held Monday, January 11, at 10 am at the gazebo at Salisbury National Cemetery, 705 Hedrick Street, Salisbury, NC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: West Haven Missionary Fund, 2580 Old Glory Road Clemmons, NC 27012.
