Mrs. Patricia ""Pat"" Moore Klinzing, 70, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012 surrounded by her family and friends. Mrs. Klinzing was born on May 30, 1941 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Mr. Reba Moore and Inez Vestal. Pat was a long-time member of Forsyth Park Baptist Church and she loved her Lord deeply. She was the self-described ""Prayer Bear"" lady and used that ministry to help numerous people in need. Pat was very artistic and enjoyed painting, sewing, and working with ceramics. She also got involved in architecture and designed the home where she and her husband, Bill, raised their family. Preceding Mrs. Klinzing in death along with her parents are a sister, Judy Hicks. Surviving Mrs. Klinzing are her husband, William ""Bill"" Klinzing, Jr. of the home; three daughters, Carolyn Klinzing Crews and husband Steve Weldon Crews of Stokesdale, NC, Elizabeth Klinzing Shepherd of Clemmons, NC, Katherine Alice Klinzing of Winston-Salem; five grandchildren, William Charles Singletary, Bradley Weldon Crews, Allen Ray Shepherd, Jr., Hannah Jordan Crews, and Danyale Elizabeth Moses; one sister, Iris Moore Ellis of Durham, NC; two nephews, Chris Ellis of Franklin, VA and Brian Hicks of Raleigh, NC; and one niece, Colleen Dover of Durham, NC. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Forsyth Park Baptist Church with the Rev. John Krivsky officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Davie County, 377 Hospital St., Ste. 103, Mocksville, NC 27028.
