Patricia Plichta Killen

Mrs. Patricia Plichta Killen, 67, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Killen was born in Union Town, PA on May 3, 1948, to the late Paul Plichta and Joanne Margaret Gould Plichta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Steven Troy Sykes. Mrs. Killen is survived by three children, Elbert C. Sykes, Jr., Angelina Dawn Sykes, and Joyce Ann Sykes; grandchildren, Nicole Barrigar, Corey Hamon, Mercedes Hamon, Chelsey Acosta, Joshua Acosta, Christopher Zeitler, Krystal Zeitler, and Marc Siehler, Jr.; five siblings, William Kenneth Custer, Timothy Dean Custer, Michael Troy Gaigler, Wesley Brian Gaigler, and Diana Boushe; one step-brother, Lawrence Major ""Ted Jr."" Thornton; and two beloved pets, her dog, Socks and her cat, Zipper. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Killen family.
