Patricia Southern Key

KEY Patricia Ann Southern Key, 74, of Winston-Salem passed away on Friday afternoon, June 10, 2011. She was born May 12, 1937 in Forsyth County, the daughter of William Cleoves and Wilma Cline Southern. She retired from Western Electric and AT&T. Mrs. Key loved to paint and work with ceramics. She adored cats and dogs and going to the beach. She was also a member of the Heart of Carolina Street Rodders Car Club. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Key; two sons, Jeff Young and Tony Young; one daughter, Beverly Sheppard Calloway;as well as four grandchildren, Autumn Young, Dane P. Young, Kendall Sheppard and Hannah Sheppard. A celebration of Mrs. Key's life will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek chapel on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 6:30 PM. Family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 419 S. Hawthorne Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
