Patricia Hoots

Ms. Patricia (Patty) Hoots,73, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She lived at Granville Place in Winston-Salem for 30 years. Patty was devoted to her church's, Grace Baptist Temple and Salem Baptist Church where she attended faithfully. She enjoyed gospel music and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James M. and Ida Fearrington Hoots, one brother, Charles Hoots, and several half brothers and sisters. She is survived by one brother, Bob Hoots (Tib); sisters, Betty Wooten (Al), Clara Nalls, Sarah Wood (Don), Catherine LeVan, Carolyn (Janie) Wooten (Clay); sister's in-law, Lettie Hoots, Lura and Helen Hoots. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday February 12, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Pat Ray and Rev. Jim Bush officiating. Interment will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, following the service, at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Iredell County. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
