Patricia Roddy Hemrick

KERNERSVILLE - Patricia Roddy Hemrick, 47, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 5, 1966 in Forsyth Co. to the late Claude Buddy Roddy, Jr. and Shelby Saye Roddy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gene, David and Ricky Roddy. Surviving are her husband, Steve Hemrick; her children, Brittany and Stephen Hemrick; sister, April Roddy Whitaker; brother, Preston Neal Roddy; and a very special nephew, Austin Roddy, all of Kernersville. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Austin Roddy Education Fund, c/o Steve Hemrick, 300 West Mountain Street, Kernersville, NC 27284.
