Patricia Jo Griffin

Ms. Patricia Jo ""Patty"" Griffin, 63, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Hoots Memorial Hospital. Ms. Griffin was born May 19, 1945 in Forsyth County to Eustace and Elizabeth Thomasson Griffin. Patty was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church, was a graduate of Southern Seminary, a member of the Forsyth Kennel Club, the Winston-Salem Dog Training Club, and the American Pomeranian Association. She showed many Champion Horses and Dogs, including Saddlebred Horses and Australian Shepherds. Preceding her in death are her parents, and a brother. Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving friends; John Woodring, Brenda Kelly, Wade Burns and her two Australian Shepherds, Griff and Chili. A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, at Forsyth Memorial Park conducted by Chaplain Stewart Roten. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Mt. Airy, NC 27030. Her friends would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Hoots Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care Patty received.
