Patricia Alley George

Colfax - Mrs. Patricia Alley George ascended into the arms of her Savior on Thursday, December 1, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 7, 1939 to the late Edward C. and Inez Smith Alley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. George; three grandchildren, and sister, Mary ""Lib"" Cooper. She is survived by her two daughters, Glenda A. Foust and Janet L. Wilson (Rhoney); granddaughter, Jennifer Clodfelter; grandsons, Johnny Foust Jr., and Randall Foust; great-grandson (and love of her life) Jacob Reid Clodfelter; step-grandson, Bryce Wilson; sisters, Martha ""Becky"" Redmon, Sherrill (Sam) Crater, Violet (Don) Sealey; brother-in-law, Richard George, and a special brother-in-law, Willis R. George, her daily caregiver for many years. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Chuck Peters and Rev. Johnny Cameron officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the funeral home.
