DATELINE: King Ms. Patricia Groce Ellis, age 63 of King died Monday evening, May 4, 2009 at her home. Patricia was born January 12, 1946 in Forsyth County to the late Thad Teague, Sr. and Lorraine Alice Marley Groce. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Patricia loved her family and grandchildren very much and was an avid fan of NASCAR. In addition to her parents Patricia was preceded in death by a sister Deborah Groce and brother Thad Teague Groce, Jr. Surviving are her daughter; Laura E. Reynolds of Rural Hall. Son: Tony Ellis and Fianc郩 Kristi Byerly. Two grandchildren; Brittany Ellis of Walkertown and Briana Reynolds of Rural Hall. Two sisters; Lois (Joe) Ayers of King and Judy (Gary) Poplin of Winston-Salem. Four brothers: Gene (Sue) Groce of Rural Hall, Harold (Sylvia) Groce of King, Ricky (Donna) Groce and, Rev. Ronnie (Daphne) Groce both of Lexington, and Gary (Debbie) Groce of Rural Hall. A Special Little Girl; Madison Bondurant. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning, May 7, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Rev. Ronnie Groce with burial to follow at Rural Hall Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
