Parris Ray Lawson

KERNERSVILLE-Parris Ray ""Red"" Lawson, 49, passed away May 1, 2010 at his home. He was born October 24, 1960 in Cuyahoga Co, OH to the late James Wallace and Beulah Brown Lawson. Parris was a beloved friend and husband to Gail ""Wright"" Lawson for 30 years. High school sweethearts, in love from the first moment they met. Proud father of Crystal Gail Lawson, (Corky Pratt) and Brandi Michelle Sapp, (Jason, son) both of Kernersville. Adoring and loving Poppy to Olivia Marie and Taylor Rae Sapp, and another granddaughter on the way. Brother to Sharon Fields (Bud deceased), Wanda (Rell) Carver and James Lawson all from Ohio. Poppy too many, dad to some, and uncle to several. All that crossed paths with him, became some type of new family member. A ""Celebration of Life"" will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 8, 2010 at his home, 704 Flynt St. all friends and family are welcome.
