Parkie Johnson Fulk

Mrs. Parkie Johnson Fulk, 82, of Madison, NC, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She was born on December 22, 1932 in Wilkes County, NC to Robert L. Johnson and Ester Mathis Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Monroe Mathis, and Walter and Tommy Johnson; three sisters, Mabel Johnson Lowe, Mildred Johnson Murphy, and Sue Johnson Oakley. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Thayne Fulk of the home; a daughter, Lisa Jo Ritch (Robert) of Waxhaw, NC; a son, Ricky J. Fulk (Karen) of Sandy Ridge, NC; three grandchildren, Dustin Fulk, Cody Fulk, and Maxwell Ritch; two great grandchildren, Caden and Luke Fulk. She is also survived by four siblings, Pauline Johnson Bowman, Robert Johnson (Shirley), Ruben Johnson (Betty) and Rachel Johnson Hager (Jerry). A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Tim Gentry officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkie's husband, Joseph Fulk at 1045 Brown Shingle, Madison, NC 27025.
