Pansy Lee Wall, 94, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 at The Oaks at Forsyth. Pansy was born in Damascus, VA on November 15, 1916. Mrs. Wall was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. She was preceded in death by her parents Druscilla Brown and step father Elbert Franklin Watkins, two husbands; E. Bryant Nelson and Thurmond Frederick Wall; two children Jo-Anne Vandiver and Gene Craig Nelson; one grandson, Craig L. Nelson and great grandson, Jason Brown; two brothers Dallas and Travis Watkins; two sisters, Lucille Cardwell and Hazel Walker. She is survived by one son William T. Nelson and wife Gail, one daughter Mary N. Culler of Winston-Salem, nine grandchildren; Robin, Allen, Mitzi, Rich, Monty, Dawn, Lorie, Carly and Stacy; and 22 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild; two brothers Marvin Brown and Fred Watkins; two sisters Ernestine Martin and Mildred Cardwell. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 1 at 2:00PM at Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Pastors David Wood and Lee Strange officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens The family will receive friends from 7:00 -9:00PM Monday, February 28, 2011 at the funeral home.
