Pansy Imogene Jefferson Pedigo

Ms. Pansy Imogene Jefferson Pedigo, 81, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Village Care of King. She was born April 28, 1934 in Surry Co. to the late Roscoe Jefferson, Sr. and Irene Mae Reynolds Jefferson. Ms. Pedigo retired from Hanes Hosiery and was a member of Rural Hall Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Meacy Jefferson Williams, Deborah Jefferson and Gaynelle Jefferson Hawks and a brother, Kermit Jefferson. She is survived by a daughter, Ranae Leonard and husband Randall, a son, Marty Pedigo and wife Christy, three grandchildren, Kayla Justice and husband Jeremy, Lindsey Pedigo and Dawson Pedigo all of Lexington. She is also survived by five sisters, Shirley Jones of Mt. Airy, Barbara Evans of King, Sarah Marie Redman of Winston-Salem, Doris Bullins (James) of Dobson and Josie Widner (Bobby) of Crutchfield and two brothers, Wayne Jefferson (Pamela) of Mt. Airy and Roscoe Jefferson, Jr. (Brenda) of Lewisville. Funeral services for Ms. Pedigo will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Rural Hall Church of God with Rev. Rick Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rural Hall Church of God Youth Group, 270 College St., Rural Hall, NC 27045.
