Pamelia Beth Driscoll died at Bermuda Village retirement facility on October 27, 2014. She was born December 9, 1920, in Arkadelphia, AR, to Dr. H. A. Ross and Pamelia Potts Ross. Beth's great-grandfather, Kirkbride Potts, established Pottsville, AR, where she spent many Christmas celebrations in the family home, now a museum. Beth graduated with a degree in math from Henderson State Teachers College, Arkadelphia, AR, in 1942. After teaching in Arkansas for one year, she moved to New Jersey during WWII to work at Curtiss-Wright Corporation, making aircraft engines. It was there that she met her first husband, Christopher Loeser. Beth and Chris lived in Scotch Plains, NJ, until 1982 when they retired to Stuart, Fl. Chris died in 1992 and in 1993 she married Charles Driscoll. Beth and Charles moved to Bermuda Village retirement facility in Advance, NC, in 2003. Charles died in April 2014. Beth loved entertaining, playing bridge, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Bixby Presbyterian Church in Advance, NC, and PEO Chapter BZ. Beth was pre-deceased by her brother, Dr. Wallis Ross, and her sister Imogene Shaver. She is survived by her son, Ross (Sue) Loeser, in Charlotte, and her daughter, Pamela (Ron) Charles in Moon Township, PA; grandchildren Beth (Erin) Guinan, Catherine (Brian) James, Christopher (Brandi) Charles, Sarah (Kevin) Campbell, Jonathan (Amanda) Charles, and 10 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Beth's life will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 4:00 pm in the living room at Bermuda Village. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Bixby Presbyterian Church, 1806 Fort Bixby Rd, Advance, NC 27006 or to Potts Inn Museum, 15 E. Ash St., Pottsville, Arkansas 72858.
