Pamela Gaye Willard

WILLARD - KING Ms. Pamela Gaye Willard passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on September 8, 1958 in Forsyth County to Jolene Montgomery Willard and the late Bobby Leon Willard. Pam was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in King and was in management with Tinder Box in Winston-Salem, Charlotte and Myrtle Beach, SC. In addition to her father, Pam was preceded in death by her feline daughter, Rooter. Pam is survived by her mother, Jolene Montgomery Willard; two sisters, Tracy Willard and Terri Childress (Joe); and her niece, Hannah Childress. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Lutz and the Rev. William Baird officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 18 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 1314, Rural Hall, NC 27045 or to the United Kidney Foundation, 4819 Park Road, Suite C, Charlotte, NC 28209-3842.
