Ms. Pamela Elizabeth Mosteller Smith, 67, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away peacefully at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on March 21, 2011. Pam was born on August 31, 1943 in Winston-Salem to Geneva and Paul Mosteller. She graduated from Robert B. Glenn High School in 1961 and attended, what was then known as, the Women's College of the University of North Carolina. Pam, a lifelong member of Friedland Moravian Church, was an avid reader and loved music and traveling. She was retired with Wachovia Bank and enjoyed spending her time alternating between Winston-Salem and Carolina Beach. Pam was preceded in death by her father, Paul (Pete) Mosteller. She is survived by her mother, Geneva Mosteller of Winston-Salem; her son, Rodney Smith and his wife, Juli, and grandson, Brennan Smith of Winston-Salem; three sisters, Becky Mosteller Myers of Winston-Salem, Syliva Mosteller Atkinson and husband, Vin of Greenville, SC and Paula Mosteller Avant and husband, Billy of Carolina Beach; loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Friedland Moravian Church with Rev. Carol Foltz officiating. The family wishes to thank the Kate B.
