Pamela June Gobble Lambeth, 71, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 7, 2024. She was born on January 12, 1953 in Forsyth County to James and Lucille Gobble.
She graduated from Parkland High School in 1971 and High Point University in 1975. She retired from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System after teaching at Brown Intermediate, Griffith Elementary, and Philo Middle School.
Pam married the love of her life, Donny Carr Lambeth, on November 17, 1973, celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary this past November. Pam was a member of Griffith Baptist Church and Hopewell Moravian Church where she was very active in sharing God’s love. She was a Sunday School teacher, led vacation bible school, directed plays, sang in the choir and played handbells. She loved being God’s hands and feet in her church and her community. She loved working on the Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministry, Jared’s HOPE Community Outreach, and WBFJ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucille Gobble; sister, Carolyn Sue Bowers; brother, Christopher Lyn Gobble; Papaw Fletus and Mamaw Blanche Gobble; Martha and Leonard Butcher and beloved dog, Abby.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Donny; four daughters, Katie (David) Brann, Karrie (Tyanna) Tuttle, Carly (Robert) Johnson, and Kristen Lambeth; grandchildren, Katelyn, Jacob and Julianna Brann, Taylor and Khloe Tuttle, and Lucy and June Johnson; sister, Debra Smith; sister-in-law, Janice Lambeth Ray; nieces & nephews, Ginger Lewis, Amber Knight, Wesley Gobble, Tommy Watson, Jeremy and Jonathan Ray; aunt, Barbara Felts; cousins, Mike, Greg, and Susan Felts; and many dear friends. She enjoyed her time with PAPALUMAJA (Pam, Pat, LuAnn, Marcia, and Janice) and Jared’s HOPE family.
Funeral services will be held at Friedberg Moravian Church on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 1:00pm, officiated by Rev. Jeff Carter, Rev. David Merritt, and Rev. Tom Anders. Burial will follow the service at Hopewell Moravian Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
