Pamela Kay Swain Deszern

Mrs. Pamela Kay Swain Deszern, 49, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 28, 2016. She was born July 24, 1967 in Forsyth County the daughter of Phyllis Jolly Swain and the late Jackie Franklin Swain. Mrs. Deszern enjoyed trips to the beach, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. She looked forward to her nightly texts from Pookie, Tuesday and Friday nights with Nonna's Love, Saturday morning coffee with her BFF, shopping with Mama, sister time with Christy, aggravating her husband, and the annual Savers Christmas parties. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her father, Mrs. Deszern was preceded in death by her Granny Jolly; a special son, Josh; and her mother-in-law, Wanda Gail. She is survived by her loving husband, Bud Deszern; daughter, Brandy Blake (David); grandson, Joshua Blake; mother, Phyllis Swain; sister, Christy Cook (Will); nephew, Cody Metts; BFF, Lena Shackleford (Richard); goddaughter, Jewel Bug Savas; special aunties, Martha and Alice; special cousin, Allen; her Savers family; and numerous extended family and friends. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 1, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Rev. Allen Whiteheart officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at the funeral home.
