Orville "Randy" Woosley

Orville Franklin “Randy” Woosley, 85, passed away on August 22, 2022, with loving family at home by his side. Mr. Woosley was born on March 29, 1937, to Orville Stamey Woosley and Lesty Fleta Lambeth Woosley in Davidson County. On November 15th, 1958, he married Linda Gail Michael in York, SC. They were married for 63 years. Mr. Woosley did auto body repair since the age of 16. In 1984, the family business was established, Woosley Motors Inc, and he continued to do auto body repair until his health declined. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working with sons in cub scouts, spending time with family, playing cards with friends, farming, raising cattle, watching auto racing, traveling with friends, and collecting antiques. Mr. Woosley was a great provider, father, grandfather, and special friend to the community. He touched many peoples' lives and met many peoples' needs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Webb, Fred and John Woosley; two sisters, Kathryn Murphy and Mary Arnold. Surviving is his wife, Linda Michael Woosley; children, Franklin Dean Woosley (Linda), Darrell Woosley (Stephanie), and Michael Derick Woosley (Jennifer); grandchildren, Matthew, Katie Jo, and Faith “Scooter”; a brother, Diorphy Woosley; along with several nieces and nephews; special family members, David, Rose Mary and Erin Coffey; Stephen, Christina, and Caroline Campbell. A special thank you to lifelong friends Nancy and Marshall Sink, and special nephew Danny Woosley. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Parklawn Memorial Park with Dr. Michael K. Duffield officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Donations can be made to Trellis Supportive Care, flowers are accepted.
