Opal Myers Ford

Mrs. Opal Myers Ford, 96, passed away Thursday January 27, 2022, in her home. She was born January 21, 1926, in Forsyth County to the late Eugene and Ida Myers. Opal loved to crochet, enjoyed adult coloring books, and devoted her life to taking care of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband; Robert Lee Ford, a daughter; Linda Hill, and a Grandson Jeff Smith. Opal is survived by her three daughters;  Patsy Mabe, Sharon Booth, Charlotte Webb (Bob), seven grandchildren; William Mabe (Christine), Robbie Mabe (Girlfriend Jennifer), Michael Booth (Allison), Jason Booth ( Angie), Audrey Motsinger, Billy Webb (Kelly), Sylvia Riley (Jamie), fourteen great grandchildren; Tyler Mabe, Katie Royal (Curtis), Zachery Myers ( Ashley), Ethan Motsinger, Cody Motsinger, Waytt Booth, Jacob Booth, Ella Booth, Jackson Booth, Owen Booth, Lincon Webb, Barrett Webb, Lakken Long (Levi), Keith Weaver, four great-greatgrandchildren; Tanner Royal, Trapper Royal, Troyn Royal, Casey Myers, a sister; Shelby Elliott of Ocla Fl, and a special fur friend; California. The family will be holding a private family funeral service with Pastor Darrell Hampton officiating.
