Opal Holbrook Shelton Dickson

KERNERSVILLE - Opal Holbrook Shelton Dickson, 77, passed away Tuesday, July 09, 2013 at Hospice Home at High Point. She was born September 9, 1935 in Wilkes Co. to the late Hurley and Bertha Pendergrass Holbrook. Opal was raised in Wilkes Co., one of eight children that helped work the family farm. She loved her flowers and gardening. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gene, Fred and Frank ""D.R."" Holbrook; and two sisters, Ina Mae Money and Ginny Warden Surviving are two sons, Terry Shelton of Kernersville and Roger Shelton of WI; one brother, William Bert Holbrook; one sister, Barbara Robertson; and one special niece, Pat Powell of Greensboro.
