Opal Parrish Beeson

Kernersville Mrs. Opal Parrish Beeson age 89, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale. She was born May 9, 1922 in Forsyth County to Lee and Addie Parrish. Mrs. Beeson retired from Lucent Technologies and was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Beeson, two sisters, Dura Thomas, Ivy Jean Blackburn, one brother, Norman Parrish, and a nephew, Tommy Blackburn. Surviving are; a brother, Raymond Parrish and wife Wanda of Abingdon, Va., three nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2012 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Roberson and Rev Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
