Olivia Ray Tucker

Mrs. Olivia Ray Tucker, 92, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living in Walnut Cove. She was born in Stokes County on December 13, 1929, the daughter of the late Willie Sanford Ray and Imogene Jessup Ray. She was a longtime member of Francisco Presbyterian Church and will always be remembered for her wonderful cooking skills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Tucker; and a brother, Marion Ray. Mrs. Tucker is survived by a son, Bill Tucker and wife Jill of Lawsonville; a daughter, Margaret Johnson and husband Mitch of Cary; two grandchildren, Emily Tucker (Gabe Ibrahim) and Matthew Johnson. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Francisco Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Will Eads officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the church.
