Olivia Shores

Kernersville – Mrs. Olivia Lee Lunsford Shores passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021. She was born June 7, 1916 to the late Walter Ray Lunsford and Martha Caudle. She lived a good full life, caring for others, and being very loving, giving and energetic woman. Olivia loved her dog, Patty, har cat, Booty, and working puzzles from the newspaper to keep her mind healthy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her loving husband, David “Ben” Shores, her siblings, and her daughter, Barbara L. Hobson.

Surviving are; three grandchildren, Gilbert “Sonny” Hobson, Jr. (Doris), Anthony Todd Hobson, and Robin Hobson Sykes (Dan), a great grandchild, David Troy Hobson (Sonya), two great-great-grandchildren, Mark Hobson, and MaKayla Hobson.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tim Stamper officiating.
