Oline Collins Rogers

Mrs. Oline Collins Rogers, 89, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 at Regency Care of Clemmons. She was born March 16, 1923 in Surry County to George Haston and Rosa Baldwin Collins. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. She was active in the Seniors group and Sunday School. She retired from Roses with many years of service. She enjoyed reading, her flowers, going to the beach, and loved sending cards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Rogers; and four brothers, Harold, John, Hassell and Eddie Collins. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Rogers Schuyler and husband Ron of Winston-Salem and Vicki L. Helms and husband Larry of Advance; one sister, Mary Crews and husband Bill of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Crestview Memorial Park with Dr. Cecil Cave and the Rev. Ron Schuyler officiating.
