Mr. Olin Ledford Beauchamp, 83, of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008 at his home. He was born September 16, 1925 in Davie County to the late Eddie Graham and Ethel Howard Beauchamp. Mr. Beauchamp loved Advent Moravian Church where he was a very active member. He served the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a charter member of Griffith Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bessie Disher Beauchamp of the home; three daughters, Monica B. Baxter and husband Butch of Greensboro, Beverly B. Cox and husband Phillip of Winston-Salem, Debbie B. Speas and husband Darrell of Clemmons; four grandchildren, Wendi Bennett and husband Chris, Amanda Piedmont and husband Jeff, Pvt. Ryan Parker, Meghan ""Baby Girl"" Speas; two great grandchildren, John and Grace Piedmont; two sisters, Doris Foltz and Nancy Norman and husband Larry; one brother, Charles Beauchamp and wife Martha; brother-in-law, C.P. Disher, Jr. and Wife Willie; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 3:00PM Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Advent Moravian Church with Rev. Dan Conrad officiating. Interment will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary of the church.
