Obera 'Bobbie' Messer Sink

Mrs. Obera ""Bobbie"" Messer Sink, 83, of Lewisville died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born March 8, 1929 in Haywood County, the daughter of the late, Seymore and Nettie Plemmons Messer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gaither William Sink and a son, Paul William Sink. Survivors include two sons, John Sink and wife Rean of Lewisville and David Sink and wife, Jackie of Madison; a daughter-in-law, Frances Sink of Lewisville; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one brother, Wayne Messer and wife, Frankie of Asheville; and two sisters, Gladys Drake of Hickory and Thelma Thompson of Lewisville. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Rev. Rick Craig officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.
