Norrine Williard Clodfelter

KERNERSVILLE-Norrine Nesbit Williard Clodfelter, 95, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was born October 20, 1918 in Forsyth Co. to the late Willie Gilmer and Eva Malona Smith Williard.

Norrine was a charter member of Union Cross Baptist Church. Despite the circumstances in her declining years, she was always appreciative and thankful to all who cared for her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, George Daniel Clodfelter, Jr. who she married on April 6, 1940.

Surviving are her daughter, Lynn Hayes and husband, Johnnie R. Hayes of Kernersville; grandson, Jason D. Hayes and wife, Miranda of Pasadena, CA; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Luke Hayes; and one sister, Inez Motsinger Johnson of Columbus, OH.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. H. Mark Ashworth officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
