Norman "Pete" Sturdy

Mr. Norman “Pete” Clinton Sturdy, 86, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019. He was born on September 11, 1933 in Kirkwood, Missouri to Norman Sturdy and Mary Helen Rollston Sturdy. Pete graduated from Kirkwood High School and then went to Kansas City Art Institute. He served in the Army and was active in the local VFW. Pete loved fishing, painting, art, and he was a very creative writer. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Emily Sturdy and children, Scott Sturdy and Rod Sturdy. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Lewisville United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
