Norman 'Honeybee' Edley Fowler

Mr. Norman ""Honeybee"" Edley Fowler, age 86 of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday evening December 13, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Mr. Fowler was born April 5, 1925 in Richmond County, VA to Lewis Charles and Blanche G. Purcell Fowler. He was a member of Winston-Salem North Congregation Jehovah's Witnesses and retired from Hanes Hosiery after 46 years of service. In addition to his parents Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Surviving are his wife of 60 years of marriage; Betty Fowler of the home. One daughter; Emilie Fowler of Winston-Salem and one grandson Chancelar Vas. One sister Louise (Gerald) Edwards of Winston-Salem. Several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. Fowler will be held Saturday December 17, 2011 at 2:30 at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses in Walnut Cove. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall is serving the Fowler family.
