Norma Libes Weatherman

Mrs. Norma Libes Weatherman passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Yadkin Valley Nursing Home. Mrs. Weatherman was born on January 6, 1928 in Winston-Salem, NC to Charles and Eulalia Libes. She was a member of Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church and retired from Western Electric and Baptist Hospital. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weatherman was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Weatherman. Surviving are her brother, Charles Libes and wife Gloria; nephews Jeff Weatherman and wife Debbie, Derek Adams and wife Melissa and Denny Libes; nieces Teresa Renaud, Lisa Carteret and Christy Perreu; great nieces Angela Sexton, Kim Vines and Julie Adams. Also great great niece Madison Lynn Vines and great great nephew Jacob Darold Vines who always made her smile. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Randy Manser officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church, 430 Weisner Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
