Norma Ann Zimmerman Sink

Norma Ann Zimmerman Sink, 81, of Kernersville, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born March 9, 1931 in Forsyth County to David Eli and Pauline Black Zimmerman. Ms. Sink was retired from Strohs Can Plant with many years of service. She loved crocheting and dancing until her health declined. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry. Surviving are two daughters, Lynn Barr of Kernersville and Betty Dixon and husband Wayne of Yadkinville; two sons, Jerry Sink and wife Heather of Beaufort and Rick Sink of Brandon, FL; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Dot Craver and husband Doug of Welcome; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21 at the New Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the family and friends officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to New Horizons Adult Day Services, P.O. Box 1969, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
