Norma Sylvia Olson

Mrs. Norma Sylvia Olson, 92, passed away Saturday October 10, 2015 at her home. She was born on October 12, 1922 in Antelope County, NE to Peter and Cora Beemer Andersen. Norma was very creative and an accomplished woman. Her ministry helped countless people and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Olson; two grandsons, Timothy Barrett and Scott Kyriss; one great grandson, Daniel Adam Martin. She is survived by six daughters, Shirley Kyriss Martin, Joanna Hill, Linda Briggs, Carol Kaufman, Janet Riehl, Debra Riehl; two sons, Ivan ""Ike"" Kyriss and James Kyriss; a special step-son, Lloyd Olson; 17grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27101. Funeral services will be arranged by Evergreen Funeral Home in Everett, Washington, 4504 Broadway, Everett, Washington, 98203.
